When people reply to your posts, they often will have your address in the 
To: field, and the list address in the Cc: field.  Because of this, you 
will receive the email once directly, and a second time via your list
subscription.  

It's a function of how people reply.  If you want to encourage them to only 
send it once, you can try to set a Reply-to: header to be the list address 
for your list posts.
