If "bootstraping" means "loading kernel via network by holding
the left and right allow buttons on cobalts," INSTALL kernel is
necessary due to firmware restriction.

How does this GENERIC kernel is loaded?
A stock boot.gz on wd0 disk from 4.0_BETA2, or patched one?
