I've set up my Cobalt to be a gateway/pf firewall just the other day.
I have a similar setup except:
o I'm using a Qube2
o I'm using NetBSD 3.1
o My tlp0 is connected to a wireless game adapter which connects to a
wireless router. That router then connects to my cable modem.
I'm downloading the NetBSD live CD right now, and it has been steady
around 300KB/sec for about 10 minutes. I'm downloading on a PC which
is on the tlp1 NAT private network.
I don't think there is a big difference between our machines.
