Hi,
Reason #1 should be brushed away. This box is not that slow. Just keep
an eye on the processes and the memory usage during transfers. Any
unusual CPU% or memory consumption surges should raise a flag.
Reason #2 must be tested and this is easy to do: just bypass the hub by
connecting your PC directly to tlp1 with a cross-over cable.
Then you will be down to #3 and on.
