I just did the following:
/dev/MAKEDEV panel
rm /dev/lcd
ln -s /dev/panel0 /dev/lcd
The panel is fine and I can echo whatever I want to it. So heres the
question, what process displays the ip & domain on the machine.
It's apparent that I obviously had 3.0 rather than 3.99.17 installed
before. I feel like a bit of a muppett.
