Just to let you know, the ISO you download from my server was created by
Dennis Chernoivanov and if I'am right using his script restorecd.tar.gz

Subject: RE: poffd problem (it gets worse)
Hi People,
I've got 2 versions of the 3.99.17 iso, one is 256.9MB from the
netbsd ftp server. this seems to install fine but once I try and
configure it it works but always gets stuck on "Starting Up >poffd"
on the display.
The only thing about this CD is that on boot it says "bootserver
dhcp: id IN A rrset doesn't exist add 493394520 iIN A 10.0.0.160:
destination address required.
The other is a 129Mb iso from Claudio's web server, however this
doesn't even install, it says:
"bootserver dhcp: id IN A rrset doesn't exist add 493394693 iIN A
10.0.0.160: destination address required."
Then gets stuck on:
cd0(viaide1:1:0):illegal request, data = 28 00 00 00 21 00 00 00 00
00 00 00 00 00 00 00
I'm assuming that this means the CD is corrupt, hence it being
smaller.
Anyone got any ideas? I installed from the first disk a few months
ago onto a 40 gig drive and all was well, now I try to do the same on
a 320 gig drive and the LCD gets jammed on that bloody poffd screen
once I've set up the initial parameters.
This sucks, someone please help.
Thanks
glyn
