1.6.x is quite old and no longer supported.
The 2.x branch will likely be obsoleted in the next year when 4.0 comes
out.  Older packages may get removed when there are security issues with
them, unsupported versions may not necessarily get rebuilt.

The ap- are additional modules, but you need the base package.
You should be able to compile it yourself from the latest pkgsrc, though I
recommend upgrading to something newer than 1.6.1.
