I do not know if this is of any help but in Germany these disk drives
are still available. Look (for example) at the website of Alternate
(http://www.alternate.de/html/shop/productListing4C.html?cat1=007&cat2=001&cat3=000&treeName=HARDWARE&Level1=Festplatten&Level2=IDE&).
They still have Samsung disk drives with 5400 rpm, currently with a
capacity of up to 250 GB.
