That's what it *doesn't* do for me. I still have the crossover cable 
plugged in, it still doesn't get an IP address from ye olde K6/300.

So maybe something is "wrong" with DHCP in the default install after 
all? I was wondering how to follow the install instructions for 
games.tgz since I couldn't get an IP I couldn't see the whole /nfsroot 
thing either. Or do I have to mount that manually once I have an IP?

I am obviously *not* the sysadmin type... :-)
