I'm running a 3.99.4 kernel and a netbsd-2-0 userland without any
obvious fatal problems.

For me just ftp'ing any reasonably sized file to or from the host would
result in a crash.  This wasn't fixed until I switched to kernel that
had the cache fixes.  Since then things have been fairly solid, I
built my userland from scratch two or three times without any
integrity problems.
