Hi Alex,

Your script works fine, thanks! Now I am no longer uncertain when I
switch off my Qube.
Another question regarding the lcd panel: Like many others I notice
significantly higher load averages when paneld is running, so I am
thinking of turning off paneld in rc.conf. On the other hand I like
the messages the Qube shows on the lcd panel during startup. If I
decide not to load paneld (paneld=NO in /etc/rc.conf) the Qube keeps
showing what it is doing during startup up to the start of "cron". So
the last message the Qube shows is "[Starting up] > cron" (with
paneld=NO).
So my idea is to keep starting paneld in /etc/rc.conf and stop paneld
after the Qube has finished its startup sequence. Unfortunately I am
still a newbie regarding shell scripting. Maybe you (or someone else,
of course) can help me realise this idea?
