I've sort of toyed with this idea. Putting it in the Qube is a great
idea because if it's really safe to unplug the fan, and it would be if
you eliminated the hard drive(s), you could have a quiet machine.
I'm thinking about getting one of these 5 gig Seagate microdrives for
my Mobilepro 880 now running BSD, and if for some reason I didn't like
it I could do this. The only problem there is microdrives have moving
parts, and probably aren't nearly as reliable. Don't know if they are
as fast either.
