port-cobalt: Qube 2 - both tulip interfaces?

I ran into problems using the Qube 2 with newer Linux kernels when routing
between the both tulip interfaces (freezes etc).
Does netbsd have the same problems or is it safe to route traffic between
the internal interface (NAT etc)?
