Hi @ll,
couse of the tulip-problem at the qube2700 i try'd to build a modifyed
restore-cd with support for a 3c905b/c-Nic. I have used the cvs-source =
to
build the kernel.
After booting the qube the first time it does the dhcp-request (via =
tulip)
and is booting the new kernel. The second NIC gets active with the new
kernel (hey, it works :) ) and does another dhcp-request; gets an IP and =
is
mounting the nfs-volume. until now, everything is as i hoped ;) but then =
the
install-process failed; via tcpdump i can read messages between the qube =
an
the nfs/boot-pc that the qube wants to get write-access to the =
NFS-Volume. I
guess, that it could be couse of some modifications in the cvs-kernel
(atabus <-> idebus).
I am not firm in netbsd, so i hope for any tips & suggestions ;) Or for
someone who can generate a restore-cd for the qube2700 which is using =
the
3com and NOT the buildin-tulip after rom-boot.
greetings
Axel
