Gentlemen,

  In the end, recording on TDK media worked. (Why Memorex and Fuji didn't
work is beyond me, but ...)

Thanks to each of you - your responses helped by:

1. Knowing the ISO was bootable

2. Knowing that I was using the program(s) correctly

which led me to the media change.

Once again, many thanks - Now on to the install!
