Hi John,

I've not tried the CD so you could be experiencing a problem with it, but
most of the time I have issues with long telnet delays it turns out to be a
DNS fault.  What does your /etc/resolv.conf file look like ?  Can you look
up names with either nslookup or dig ?  If they work, then you might have
got a problem.
