Hi,
thanks for trying this. May I ask you to check if the following image works:
http://only.mawhrin.net/~cdi/netbsd/cobalt/testing/image.iso.gz
It contain a fix for partition table/disklabel calculation. Also, the image
does not reboot the box when the installation is finished, so that it is
possible to login into a freshly installed box. If the installation fails even
with that image, I would love to see disklabel/fdisk information...
