Correction....  it appears to work if I plug the ethernet directly from
the Mac to the cobalt.  It does not appear to work when connected to the
switch.

Very nice work.  And a nice option for people who have a Mac and
VirtualPC.

A very cool thing would be to utilize the /dev/lcd driver to print restore
status to the screen while it is installing.
