Hi all,

I have been scouring the mailing lists and FAQ trying to figure out
if I can bypass the NFS install routing.. for a simpler approach.

What I would like to know is if it is possible to remove the Cobalt
Qube/Raq hard disk and mount it on a Linux/BSD workstation. From
there it should be possible to create the file system as per the BIOS
requirements and upload the MIPS binaries and source. Once this
process has been completed returning the drive to the Raq/Qube is the
final step.

The only "problem" I see with this solution is the need to have both
r/w ext2 and bsd file systems on the workstation - kernel compile
etc.

Is there something I am missing here that is obvious to you guys?

Thanks
