Ok, you have one of the early models where a workaround is needed.
I tried doing it some time ago, but it didn't seem to work on
Stephen Harrell's machine.

I have put up a test kernel with a slight variation of the workaround
as /pub/NetBSD/arch/cobalt/netbsd.2700.gz . Please try it out.
