Hi,

Yesterday (19 Feb.) I checked in the changes made to the kernel's
interpretation of the disklabels. This has some consequences for those
of you that use the NetBSD disklabels (on either an NBD AHDI partition
type or a disk without AHDI labeling).
The position of the disklabel in the bootblock has moved. Kernels build
from sources that contain the latest update can be made backwards compatible
by turning on the config options: COMPAT_11, DISKLABEL_NBDA and DISKLABEL_AHDI.
You should at least turn them on to boot the kernel ;-)
Finally a *WARNING*: When you rewrite your disklabels (using 'disklabel -e'),
you won't be able to boot any pre-Feb19 kernels!!!!!

Leo.
