Then you're using the wrong mailing list - this is about NetBSD/arm32
(32 bit ARM cpus).

NetBSD/arm32 has a working IDE driver - the disk in my (NetBSD/arm32) 
mail machine is an IDE one.

Included with NetBSD, which comes at cost of downloading, or buying a CD
from third party CD distributors.
