You've heard of the blue screen of death in Windows. I've gone three or four
better than that ;-) I get a rainbow at the top of my screen followed by an
error box telling me basically that the machine is stuffed.

I'll do what I can to help but at the moment it would be the blind leading
the visually disabled ;-)
