After testing some compiled kernels I'm more confused than before.

Thinking about it I can only suspect my hardware now.
Hadn't the SA-110 some sort of bug in earlier versions ?
Mine is a version S, so does that still apply ? Although it is second
hand, it's still very new in my machine.

Is that a reasonable assumption ?
