Subject: Crashing on setup (netbsd 1.4) ("no inodes free")

I am trying to set up netbsd on an Acorn StrongARM with 26MB RAM, 1.25GB
HD. I have repartitioned the hard disk, using 200MB for RiscOS, leaving
the rest free. I have set up the disk and leaded the installation kernel
using BtRiscBSD. Everything seems to go fine at first; I can specify the
NetBSD partitions etc. Then when I state that they are okay, it asks for a
disk name. I tried to call it "holmoak". Then it brings up an error:

uid 0 on /:out of inodes

/: create/symlink failed, no inodes free

could not open /etc/disktab

 sysinst terminated.
#

and takes me to a shell to the ramdisk (I presume) in which I can view the
files (using cd, ls etc.) but not create anything; if I do that it says:

uid 0 on /: out of inodes

/:create/symlink failed, no inodes free
mkdir: : no space left on device

if I was using mkdir, for example.

I am using kernel netbsd.RPCINST from the netbsd
1.4/arm32/installation/kernel directory on
ftp.netbsd.org (ungzipped, of course), using BtRiscBSD from
installation/misc (riscpc-loader.arc).

Woud anyone possibly be able to help me, please? Has anyone else had the
same problem? Am In doing anything totally wrong? I've been following
the advice in prep.RISCOS for setting up the partitions. Is there any
remedy, or is it something like the system being a StrongARM and running
RiscOS 3.7?

Thank you very much in advance for your help,
