Yes, I have tried that as well. From what has been said elsewhere
it looks as though there is no floppy disk support in the kernel.
Luckily I can connect to another machine by stringing a "null modem"
Ethernet cable between the CATS box and it, so the lack of
floppy disk support in an inconvenience rather than a serious
problem.
