Thanks for the help re my problem with deleting my files in
dev.

I tried to boot from floppy and had no luck,
so I have deceided to upgrade to 1.3.2 (from 1.2).

I have managed to download the set and kernels from
ftp.uk.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/NetBSD-1.3.2/arm32/ (I think!)

Now I am going to install 1.3.2.

I tried the new bootloader, and the RPCINST kernel but it looks
that my old installation is buggering things up.

Any way around reformatting the drive?

Is there a unixfs with the ability to clout all files regardless of
permissions? Then I could hammer most of my / and /usr and see what would
happen. :-))

Words of wisdom gratefully accepted.

Adrian

Had a nicely working 1.2 installation untill I deleted the files in
/dev trying to get my CD drive recognised, foolish me.
