The Perl that comes in the sets doesn't work for me - keeps crashing
on all but the simplest things. I've seen something similar before,
but I haven't seen anyone post a solution. Spent about 6 hours trying
to compile 5.004_01, with no luck. Does anyone have a set of that?
Anyone give me any pointers if you have managed to compile Perl?

I'm getting all sorts of errors - fix one, find another.
