In case anyone is interested in my own wibbling, I plugged a Z88 into
the archy instead of the printer, and found more than the very small
bit of postscript coming through: the bit I missed was to SUPPRESS
THE HEADER!! ie., all it needed was a :sh: in the printcap. (In the
meantime the printer broke down completely, but that's another
story...)
