A lot of people seem to be having problems not being able to find manual
pages that they should be able to. This happened to me, and I found that
the problem lay in the fact that the permissions for /usr/share/man/cat1
were set wrongly, such that only could access the manpages in that
directory, and mere users couldn't.

The answer of course is to change the permissions to be the same as the
other directories (/usr/share/man/cat2, cat3, cat4 etc.) using chmod when
logged in as root.

Is anyone going to fix this since it comes up quite a lot it seems? I
guess its too minor a problem to be worth redoing the distribution set
file for.

Ben.
