  Hi,

 I think I've developed a bad block on my SCSI disk.

  When running fsck I get

garp# fsck -f /dev/rsd0a
** /dev/rsd0a
** File system is already clean
** Last Mounted on /usr2
** Phase 1 - Check Blocks and Sizes

CANNOT READ: BLK 43920
CONTINUE? [yn] y

THE FOLLOWING DISK SECTORS COULD NOT BE READ: 43925,

and this message...

Sep 13 11:34:19 garp /netbsd: sd0(csc0:6:0): non-media hardware failure,
info = 494757 (decimal), data = 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

  I'm running a kernel compiled by myself from the sources on ftp.netbsd.org

Is there any way of flagging this sector as bad? Do I have to reformat
the drive?

  Any help greatly appreciated!

Ale.
