Yes, there is a direct port of cksum and many other Unix
utilities. See Hensa, b085 and b168 (I'm afraid I can't remember which
contains cksum). This is the main reason for me having three library
directories :-)

They include things like ls, grep, perl, awk (I think), diff etc etc.
