I just committed a fix for the kdb driver to -current, so something like

Section "InputDevice"
     Identifier	"Keyboard1"
     Driver	"kbd"
     Option "AutoRepeat" "500 30"
     Option "XkbRules"	"xfree86"
     Option "XkbModel"	"pc101"
     Option "XkbLayout"	"us"
     Option "Protocol" "wskbd"
     Option "Device" "/dev/wskbd"
EndSection

should work properly now, at least it does on my shark and O2.

have fun
Michael
