So, I compiled teTeX-bin with CPU_FLAGS set to -O0 and abusing the magic
=2Emk include file normally used by cpuflags. I've just tested the .dvi fil=
es
in question, and all metafont runs (including the two that failed otherwise)
did run... well, fast walk ... okay.
