Any chance of a trace?

Could you also try a kernel that doesn't have tlp but instead has de in
it?

I'm not overly enamoured with tlp on cats, it doesn't work for me.
Certainly I need to spend a weekend playing and figuring out what's
broken, note that it's the cats somewhere (as tlp works fine with the
same card on i386)

I'm rather tempted to switch the GENERIC kernel back to de from tlp,
until cats works with tlp.

PS I'm on port-cats so be assured there are ppl on it.
