Subject: all kvm grovelers are broken?

Is it only me, am I missing something, or are we actually going to release
1.6 with all kvm grovelers broken on most ARM ports?

On my shark the booted a.out kernel does not contain any symbols.

So kvm_mkdb fails, savecore fails, netstat does not work, neither does vmstat.

Or am I supposed to set savecore_flags to "-z -N /netbsd.elf"?

There seems to be no easy option to make /etc/rc.d/sysdb pass a different
kernel file name to kvm_mkdb (which would fix most of the utilities listed
above).

How are others dealing with this? I can't believe we ignore such massive
lossage in the current release process.
