OK.  I tried that with my Deskstation rPC44, but there appear to be
problems with that.  I'll try it again.  I'll try it with just the
kernel to start.

Before I tried to tar xvf all the distributions into the temp
directory and make a cdrom with that.  This failed. :-(

Which version of mkisofs are you using?
