Hello!!

a few days ago i get an Mips Magnum with the original OS (Risc/OS) wich is
more than ugly, so im looking
for an other OS for this Machine (everthing but not M$). So i found netbsd
which has a port for this machine.
But my Problem is that the machine is at the moment in big endian mode,
because its run Risc/OS. If i had
read everthing right and have understud it, netbsd run's only in little
endian mode (same as M$). So my
machine has no graphic card an i'm not sure, if i could change the firmware
with the serial console.

At the moment the machine looks like this

         Digital Kienzle DK2825

inside

         Mips Magnum 4000 SC
         RAM 128 MB
UPS inside (active after 10 sec., for secure shutdown, after
shutdown it goes off)
         SCSI onboard
         2nd SCSI-Controller (EISA, Adaptec)
         Emulex WAN-Adapter
         Kidan X-21 Controller
         2 Harddrive (1GB Fujitsu)
         1 Streamer
         1 DAT-Drive
         1 3,5" Floppy
         1 System Console VT-420

It is possible to get on this machine netbsd in big endian mode or have i
reprogramm the firmware with the little
endian. also i'm searching for a graphic card for this machine, does anyone
knows something about this graphic
card's?

Thanks for your help!

Tom
