I tried enabling the jumper next to the serial controller, but it didn't seem
to do anything noticeable.  Still nothing over the serial port.  I've tried
with and without the video board, and both serial 1 and serial 0.  No dice.
I've tried both null modem, and straight thru, at 9600 8n1.
Am I not doing something I should be??
