You mean, we should make loading into highest priority memory the default,
as we did with loadbsd last year? Yes, I agree. And this should be easy.
Or are you trying to say that the boot loader doesn't load into the highest
priority memory segment, even with option -p specified?

Is this problem with loadbsd or the boot loader? With loadbsd you can use -t
(trace) to print the memory list which is passed together with the kernel.
Is the Z3-RAM present there?
Otherwise there may be a problem in the kernel, which doesn't use additional
Fast-RAM segments, besides the kernel's segment. Or there is not sufficient
space for the MMU tables when using 512MB.
