Re: NetBSD 2.1

Hi,

As with 2.0.2, I have no luck installing 2.1.

I have had NetBSD 2 running on at least two different Amigas. They were m68060s, though. But due to the kernel eventually consuming all available memory, I've moved one of them back to 1.6.2 and the other to netbsd-3.

panic: MMU fault

This is an A3000 with 2MB chip/16MB fast, GForce 040 w/ 6MB, EGS Spectrum (2?)
gfx card, no network card.

Considering the age of the box, I would consider hw failure at this point ...

Did you ever have NetBSD running on it? I know I've never had great experience using motherboard fast memory with an accelerator which has memory on it, too - but usually it was a problem after a few hours.

John
