you need bffs-1.5beta, and of course it won't work with newer ffs developments.

bffs-1.3 is old style only, and will destroy netbsd-1.0 and later ffs
unless created with newfs -O.

bffs-1.4 was (mostly) 1.3 limited to read-only.

The reason it can't set the clean flag is that there seems to be no way to
fully unmount a file system in AmigaOS... you "just boot" anytime the disk
isn't active.
