Hello
I have similar problems with grfconfig and PIV.
I never managed to increase the resolution of the console or X11.
Whenever I try that, my console becomes totally unreadable.
I will try to explain. When I feed grfconfig a file create with picasso96mode,
the console looks like it is "split" into several squares repeating the
content which is totally unreadable.

I don't know of a way to take a screendump so I find it hard to explain
how the screen looks like.
I also never figured out how to calculate the different numbers in the
file needed for grfconfig. I've read the FAQ for X11 and I've read the manual
page for grfconfig. I just don't understand the "picture" in the manual
page that describes the vbs etc parameters.
Any suggestions regarding this problem are welcom.
Regards
John
