$ ls -l `which gls`
 312 -rwxr-xr-x   1 datlib   student    305580 Nov 28  1998
/usr/datlib/bin/gls*
$ gls --version
ls (GNU fileutils) 4.0

There is no anon ftp here; I suspect someone happened
to link it statically against ncurses (or whatever it uses for
terminal diplay)...
