Hi!

XFree86 has pretty good support for Cirrus logic graphics chips. Xamiga is
lacking support of hi- and truecolor modes, which are present in XFree86
sources. If I have got correct information NetBSD kernel itself has the
support already.

Would it be hard job to move Cirrus logic code from Xfree86 sources to
Xamiga source.

Is all cirrus code in Xamiga found in this directory:
ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD-current/xsrc/xc/programs/Xserver/hw/netbsd/amiga

I collected cirrus sources from new Xfree86 sources to my homepage at:
http://cs.hit.fi/~pkoistin/cirrus/

It seems that sources differ a lot, but something is almost same. Where
should I start merging Xfree86 sources to Xamiga.

And what source packages I need to compile by my own Xamiga server? Do I
need additional tools like Imake, and where I can find them?

Regards
Petri
