UVM Panics revisited

A few monthes back I took out my upper memory (12MB) because I kep
getting kernel panics once the upper memory was acessed. This fixed the
problem only for a few days. I've been running without X now and my
machine will only run about 48 hours before panicing.

I'm running an Amiga 3000 with 4MB of fast ram, 2.1GB HD and the EGS
Spectrum card. I've compiled my own kernel as well. Here is the db output:

cronmap_page_protect: va dffe000, pmap_ste_v 0, pmap_pte_pa 07ec00/7fec000
pvh 0x1e19c8 pv 0x1e19c8 pv_next 0x0
panic: pmap_page_protect: bas mapping.

_proc_trampoline() +2

I got this during startup (looks like when pagedaemon tried to start.)

I'm really lost as to why this is happening. Anyone have any ideas? I did
have to add the sbic.c patch to compile a new kernel for 1.4.1.

thanks for your time.
