The 815 is a PCI chip that uses a BIOS so I doubt that it is an 815. Does
the Wildfire have a PCI bridge chip?

Most Amiga SCSI cards use the 53c7x0 chips, which do not have the
expansion bus dependence. There are already drivers for those chips in
NetBSD, though maybe not modified for the specific card. There are also
drivers for the 8xx chips in NetBSD, as well as Linux for that matter, but
the chip drivers are not "glued" to the card interface.

I'm not sure about NetBSD, but with Linux, getting a driver usually
requires (a) hearty soul(s) with the hardware, to write/modify one.

You usually also need the memory map of the card. Usually only the
manufacturer can provide this.
