Did you build this from the NetBSD package system? If yes, report to tech-pkg
please. If no, you should build from the pkg system.

All knowledge about what tricks are needed to compile a 3rd party package
are entered into the pkgsrc system.

If you need external programs, _first check_ whether there are NetBSD
packages for them, for the same reason.

You would need to rewrite the Amiga grf and ite drivers to support wscons,
first. In case you can do this, you are very welcome :-)

Good: IMO, TeX (we have a teTeX package), possibly in combination with
LyX, at least for small jobs.

The Lout people think Lout is better (again, NetBSD has a pkg for this).
I've briefly played with "pw" (from the SIAG pkg).

Choose from the half dozen in the NetBSD pkg tree.

Defaults for the pkgs system is

We don't need to discover what compile parameter to use for NetBSD. We know
it already... the BSD

In-tree we have a POSIX sh, we have the PD korn shell (ksh) and the csh.
In addition, you can choose among a couple third-party shells to add from
the pkg system.
