Illegal instruction on a shell script can be a sign of
- broken memory
- broken (non-existang) MMU
- broken FPU-support
In any case this should not happen. You can try running ktrace on the
whole thing but that will probably not help you more. Or use gdb and see
where it got the illegal instruction.
