"eek, LEDA". Fighting with this at work on NetBSD/arm32.
Anyway: NetBSD-1.4.1 should have some egcs-1.1.1-ish with bugfixes, at least;

gcc version egcs-2.91.60 19981201 (egcs-1.1.1 release)
NetBSD-current has
jocelyn !% uname -r
